Sorry for delay, I was off on another site. Yeah, the whole thing is looking rather dire. It’s Sully’s answer that makes it sound so permanent as well, about setting a good example, and bragging about things. Not good, not good.

I hope she at least comes back as a user. Or talks to us, or something. It is just so frustrating when she won’t let us talk to her and be there for her. Anyhow, I guess we will just have to wait.

yes, she was not just banned, her account was deleted. try searching for her. if she was banned, it would say. it just comes up with no such user.

Well, I think all we can do is keep trying to contact her, and eventually she’ll reply.

I’ll keep monitoring MSN too.

I’ve emailed Marie 4 times now, and got no response. I know she will be ok, (in the bigger sense, she is too strong for that. But no doubt she is upset/angry/betrayed etc and I want to be there for her. Her problem is she tries to be too strong and ironically rejects help. We can only be there for her when she wants us to be.

As for the rest, we can just hope that it will be all sorted out soon. It might be the impetus for a change the site has needed for a while, with a new modding system. But not sure what the answer is, i only have the questions!

I’ve tried emailing Mas but no response. Even tried on MSN.
I know, Sully’s reply was a bit of a shock. I’ve seen some of the other mods replies and if Mas was kicked off, they deserve to be also. I think they forget who they are. This Vendetta has been given the right to have a star beside his name, and my cursor over it says he’s a mod volunteer, but he’s not. Hardly fair. He must have a huge ego.
Yes, I saw the people shouting yourabi too. It’s disconcerting.

I think this is yourabi’s first day back after the holidays, so he’s probably checking to see why all hell broke loose.
I hope we get explanations.

I have just noticed, Yourabi is actually on the site, right now, hmmmm what’s going on me wonders!

I had a feeling it was taken out of context. As she is often ‘modding’ on her own, it is a good tactic as well to frighten away the trolls!

But she also often says things tongue in cheek, I don’t think she would have the time or the inclination to do all that. I know her too well, it is all nonsense. I’m glad you think so too.

But I worry this is not going to go away for her, after seing Sullys last reply before the last post was shut. I got there too late to comment, but read it all. Sully did not sound optomisitc. What do you think?

I’m also annoyed about how many people are trying to jump into her mod shoes before this thing is even settled. Even shouting Yourabi and saying, ‘poor Mas, help her, but can I have her job?’ It makes me really sad that people are so backstabbing.

Not so. She and Mas did have a small battle, but it was no big deal. Any fool could tell Mas was tongue in cheek about that comment. This one obviously never saw that.

I understand how it can weigh heavily.

Mine too. My job sometimes means the difference between a person in work, managing, or out of work, losing their job, house etc. Making agreements that affect thousands of teachers. National Agreements were ‘enforced’ because of me and, oh I don’t know, it just weighs heavily. I hate the MP’s I have met, and headteachers I have admonished. It can be Very heavy. Sorry, just down, as I am about to lift the mantle again. ;(

yes, he was my dog. He was put down in April, aged 15 1/2. He had a good long life and was intelligent with a great sense of humour.

I was on a post last night where the poster had a dog which needed putting down and he was broke. We all started talking about dogs and he cheered up. That’s why Sam is my avatar.

Yes, Megan is exhausted with Lily. I saw here on Tuesday and hopefully we’ll get together with my folks today.

Hi. Forest was actually good. It seemed poor at first, i was disappointed, but the road cuts through the forest and you get a sense of scale of the the thing. Lots of good coppicing by the road. One could see how in medieval times it would be awesome.

Very tired tonight, just off to bed. The course went well, but Mick (boss) got me to lead part of it, which I was not expecting, then said I gave too much detail! Git!

Other than very tired, I’m ok. It’s 11.35pm here, and I have casework at County Hall at 9.15am, so bed and an early start.
