  Yeah, i agree with most of what you say (kalevolive). But i feel that its a long winded answer to a simple question. “can someone teach me to be rational in love?” the answer is yes and no. Yes, because there is some great advice here to be reflected on(based on other peoples experiences) and no, because your life and people you meet are different to other peoples. Sure, advice is great, but dont forget to view it as an outsider, and be open to all possibilities. By following one particular method or advice solely, you limit yourself.
  
  Just be ready to embrace a relationship and enjoy it for what it is. If you spend the whole time worrying about wether someone is right or constantly questioning them, youll never be content. Trust me, if its not going to work you’ll know. The most important things to remember: 1. Trust. 2. Honesty. 3. Be realistic.
  
  You have to be able to trust one another, thats for sure. You have to be honest with yourself and your partner or prospective partner always. And, being realistic. Man, if things about one another piss each other off, dont try and force a relationship cause it wont work. Talk about these things, and if they cant be resolved, move on. If they can, well, go for it!! Youve found someone who understands you and thats freaking awesome. Move foward together, and you never know, you might just find love.

  ok. Kalevolive, thats a very clinical approach, you sound like your quite experienced at the love game. You play it pretty safe but i disagree that you can “choose” who you love, that to me dosent make any sense. You feel how you feel and thats it. Yeah you can try to change your feelings but theyl never truely change, even after break ups you might say to yourself “i hate her/him now” etc etc but in your heart, if your relationship was strong and quite close, youl never stop feeling something for that person. We are not robots with a switch that can be turned on and off automatically saying wether or not we love someone, thats a load of balony. We’re human. And that means we have feelings.And, as hard as it is to accept, we cant turn them off, end of story. If you ignore them your only settin yourself up to be hurt later on down the track.
  
  Feeling denile = BAD. Stay true to yourself and others is the only way to be rational. The rest….Well, love decides.

  Music is awesome. it always has something new to say or a way to make you feel.

Silverchair, Grinspoon, Korn, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeplin, Staind, Clutch, Nirvana, AC/DC, Live, The Streets, RATM, The Vines, Beastie Boys, Guns and Roses, The Butterfly Effect, Incubus, Kill Switch Engage, Teddy Geiger, Jurassic 5, DJ Shadow, Hilltop Hoods, John Butler,Metallica,Pete Murray, Sevendust….
