  So your daughters may not do this, so what? Not everyone deals with problems the same way. Maybe andi is dealing with it this way because they don’t know how else to. To just excuse it as irrational and “erratic” is ridiculous. You have no idea what this person is going through, exactly how it makes them feel, and the resources they have for coping. Criticizing this person will not get them the love, comfort, and help they need!

  It doesn’t sound silly to me, because I feel exactly like that. You never know if you have a talent until you develop one. Try going to adult piano lessons (there is such a thing). Or maybe go to a voice class. I love guys that can sing. Instructors can work wonders with you, and who knows, maybe you DO have potential. An instructor would be able to tell you. I didn’t ever know that I would be able to sing like I do now. Don’t give up on something that you haven’t learned to do.
