Well… you’re probably just dating because you fear being alone, then. In which case you’re doomed to be depressed, as you’ll never be happy with someone if you’re only with them because you would rather not be without anyone.

Well… looking on the bright side exclusively is called being naive. Looking on the dark side exclusively is called setting yourself up for depression.

Either way you’re an extremist.

I tend to see both sides, and err on the side of caution. The dark side, often makes things seem negative. Conversely, the bright side sees only the positive. Which brings to mind the “optimist” and “pessimist” designations. I am neither. I am a cynical realist. Most of the world sucks, so I’m going to assume things suck because the odds against things being good are phenomenal. At the same time, I do what I can to make things better, so that maybe, just maybe, the world might not suck so hard.

The bright side is that people tend to be far less open about their idiocy in real life.

I dislike ‘real-life’ people, and indeed the way the world works in general. Which is why, for the most part, I do my best to avoid it, and simply comment on it whenever I must interact with it.

I’m alright… I’m dreading the days to come as they’ll require me to be around other people, but I have to do what I have to do.

There’s no place I’ve ever been that’s better or worse than anywhere else. Just different.

I’m not going to complain, because if I do… it might get worse. Lol.

sorry for ME taking aaaages to reply lol =P I hate parents too. Thankfully I only had/have 1 since I was a 2yo, and I worked our relationship into one that lets me do whatever I want so long as it doesnt affect her badly. So it’s good for me, but maybe it would have been helpful to have more discipline at time, set me on the right track….

yup been cheated on as well. lol. in fact my last girlfriend left me to go off with some bloke who then said no to her. lol. Karma is a funny thing.

sorry, perhaps dumb was the wrong word…? That’s a shame you don’t get a choice about what direcgtion you coose to take your life tho… although, if u graduate uni then you’ll more than likely get straight into a decent job. then you can look back and appreciate the 5 or so years you spent at uni. either that or u do it my way and work ur way up to a decent job - minus the uni degree. I think uni has a much bigger advantage. Anyway, that’s the way I see it.

hahahahaha thats fair enough. all ours here are full of dumb arts students…. i chose not to bother with uni, it’s working out OK. could be better tho.

aye Japan would be fantastic! what’s wrong with US universities tho? they’re better than what we got here….. Graphic design is cool too :)

before that was kempsey, some random town on the mid coast of NSW, and I was born in Sydney. never been overseas which sucks, but I wanna move to Canada one day…..

haha no, i wasnt brought up here so it wasnt ingrained into my vocabulary from a young age =D thankfully!

I know exactly what you are talking about. I like to say that I am innocent, but I am guilty of going off topic once in a while. However, it is usually only when the post itself was not serious. I have noticed newer users (less than three months) using other people’s post for their own agenda and arguments. You post was valid and I would encourage you to write another one in like a week.
