I think your doctor might be good to talk to, your mum doesn’t have to know why you’re going. He/she will probably have better idea of who to contact.

How should I handle this?

I know it’s a tough one but I’m sure she’ll understand that you have to spend time with your friends. It’s a bit pants staying at home so you do need to make an effort to keep up your own social life. If you do spend plenty time with her then don’t feel guilty just try to explain to her that you enjoy hanging out with her but you need to have your own life too.
