Haha I see, UGA huh? I actually know a few people that go to school there and in that area of Georgia. Haha that’s cool, yeah I plan on making my way around Europe and Asia at some point and dropping by Egypt.. I’m also curious about what Dubai looks like.. I’ve heard stories about how amazing it is and my friend has an uncle who runs a hotel there so maybe I can get him to help me out haha. Well I’m glad your parents are helping you with your school, it’s not fair to limit someone’s education if they have the opportunity and I hate when parents do that. At this point in my life, no I do not regret changing schools one bit. I did all of my living and growing at the university I attended and if I wouldn’t have gone there, I wouldn’t have had made such awesome friends as I did or had any of the life experiences as I had. The only thing I regret is not taking the whole being in college bit for granted, because I totally did.
Nah, although I do know a fair bit of Chinese because I had a Chinese roommate over the summer haha. I know some Japanese, but I’m better at Spanish than any of those. I figure if I’m going to stay in science I should probably learn Chinese at some point. That’s pretty sweet, going to Egypt. I always wanted to go, and I always wanted to study abroad but I never was able to get the chance. My parents always supported me thankfully whenever it came to school at least. When I was with Brittany, my ex, I was trying to get into a University closer to her so I’d be closer to her. Even though it was a pretty top notch school they weren’t very supportive of that decision so I stayed put.
Yeah I just got lucky with the opportunity to move I guess. College is pretty nice you get to learn how to rely on yourself and no have to have your parents always there to try to “advise” you on what to do. It’s a great way to basically learn how the world goes. Ah arabic huh? That should be interesting, I’ve never really been too attracted to learn that. I’m more of an Asian language person especially in my field. Yeah, I’m still in school, it’s pretty much why I moved.
Yeah same here haha.. I just log on every now and then to see if anyone has sent me a message :) I’m doing alright.. recently picked up my life and moved it to a completely new city. Still basically settling in after a few months of adjusting. How are things with you? How have you been?
I do like traveling, actually the day we broke up I took off that day to Vegas with a friend just to get away. Not that Vegas is much of a place, but it helped a bit. I can’t travel much because of work.
The only thing I noticed was she was going out a little more, I didn’t mind at first. It did get some what bothersome when she was coming home around 4am.
I’m not sure, I can’t figure that out. I’m usually a pretty social person. I’m really trying to be optimistic about this but by night time I just get miserable. I guess it’s that whole first love stuff.
Thank you for the reply. It’s just hard because I’m not sure how to respond to her. It’s like she changed over night or something. It’s hard to talk to my friends because we have mutual friends. They still hang out with, but just try not to talk about when the see her.
it looks great! thanks for asking…one painting is based on an early Munch - a guy sitting on a couch in a coat and hat looking at the viewer - it doesn’t sound like much, buy the left side of his face is a normal expression and the right (darker) side is sad or sinister - the other is based on a Degas nude - a woman sitting on the edge of a tub drying her red hair…
hey, Amanda Lynn, it’s good to hear from you! (heart gets warm) - i’m doing good, and you? and I like your new pic - wow, you look great! - can’t say more or i’ll get in trouble!!! (heart beats fast)…oh, and i’m working on 2 new paintings…see ya…
Actually, when I was little, I had very blue eyes. Now, they’re decidedly green. Even my parents forget my eye color now, because they’re so used to them being blue.
I’m playing around with some new equipment. There’s been a lag in the updating because… well… the only requests I’ve gotten for the show have been beyond my means at this point. I’ve loaded a few ‘extras’- just a few short videos from when I went to the Phoenix Zoo recently, but I *am* working on the show, and I *will* be getting some better video quality soon.
I’d like to do something like that, which is why I’m getting used to recording myself with my little Youtube experiment. I know I can write the rants, I’ve been doing that here for long enough. What I need work on is presentation.
I could see that. Maybe’s that why I asked. At least your obsession is rational. haha I could actually see you doing something similar, kind of the rant-comedy. You’re entertaining.
Yes, actually. I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a bit obsessed with his comedy. I listen to the new show every week, and in between, I listen to all the old shows. I’ve listened to all his rants, I have his music on my play list, and a few weeks ago, I bought his CD and all four of his comedy DvDs. I like him for a lot of reasons, but mainly because it’s his style of comedy that influenced me the most in the way I act online.
well, im not voting for either one - i have issues with both, so im writing in someone - but the interest in obama is so great, i think it will be an electoral college landslide - i heard a newsguy say that for someone running like that to lose at this point, they’d have to find him in bed with a live boy or a dead girl!…good luck…
There’s two that are similar. One is Sam Kinnison, who’s apparently very big in Canada. I haven’t been able to listen to many of his shows, but the ones I’ve heard were awesome.
The other is a guy who uses the name 2 the Ranting Gryphon. Both shows take stupid-but -true news stories, and give their opinions, but as they’re comedy shows, they tend to have some really great ways of putting their opinions.
I would suggest going to 2’s site, www.ranting-gryphon.com and listening to the “Rants” section. They’re each about five minutes, and they’re a much faster way to tell if you’re even interested. I’d go for the one on Iraq or on America first. Though the Vegetarians/Hunters combo is pretty fun, too.
haha its cool, i think last time we talked i was coughing and stuff. my mom and i kinda got into a arugment earlier as well, i can kinda relate, i have alot of things to do with school and she is going off on me for something stupid.
Sure i hear ya, i can give ya a call now if ya want, if not, you can hit me up whenever you want. i just got done with all my stuff so im free for the night ;)
well, im sure he’s going to win - unless there is some major october surprise - and, yeah, titanic is pretty romantic - it’s just knowing what happens at the end that’s hard for me to deal with while watching it…
I’m always open for a good discussion if you ever need one. And I can easily point you to other sites online that can give you more intelligent people. Namely, radio shows and comedians online that… well… let’s just say their opinions have no censors.
when i think of that movie, it gives me a sinking feeling - yes, i get most of my photos from the internet and from magazines, some from real life, so you dont need to hook me up, but thanks - are you on the obama campaign?
well, i do look at people differently since i began concentrating on painting people some time ago - i look at their noses especially, also the eyes and the expression - pity, sadness, joy, boredom, etc. - only some would do as models - im just not ready to go up to a total stranger and ask them - ive got to sell some of my work and also produce a lot more first - your last comment, hook me up? with someone else? im a bit naive sometimes…:P
well, im always looking for another good female model! just kidding, i work from photos mostly - oh, i have a weird sense of humor - i say things that sound serious but im really kidding - it shakes people up until they get to know me…:D
thanks…a real original, huh? - i like that! nice name combo - cute! - i think im pretty good artisticwise - its my passion and first love - but only part-time for now - im not too political - have my own opinions…:)
well, people tell me i’m a detail person and that i ask a lot of questions - couldn’t tell if it was salad dressing or beer! im good - at work actually, computer stuff, so every once in a while i chat with people - Mandolin is such a neat name - never heard it before…Will :D
oooh nice! i actually started out in school doing Political Science. and Psychology. then i decided if i was gonna listen to people whine all day id prolly prefer dogs ;)
yea, im thinkin ill have to make another trip here in the summer time and check out the beaches!
not for the next 5 years though, which is how long school is, im off to uni for Veterinary Science.
its in a place called Palmerston North, about 2 hours drive from wellington on the west coast of the bottom of the north island…if that makes sense o_O
