Mini-Profile

I’ve been an artist (furniture maker/metalwork/jewelry) for years but because of some amazing crisis within my family throughout this past year I have stepped back from production to care for folks and help in ways I never knew would be necessary. Consequently, as I return to my work it feels quite meaningless. It appears a new path is unfolding - there is much need in the world with regards to caring for people with mental illnesses as well as their families and that will most likely be my new direction.

Life is short. My thinking is that it seems best to make decisions from the heart (especially if your heart beats with love for all). There will be less chance to need to back-peddle, waste time cleaning up messes and repairing damage-done if you are guided by your heart. Decisions made from, or actions taken because of, other places tend to cause far too many problems (especially the combination of brain+ego - not a good thing).
