  thanks jfitz0225, I will look into it. I don’t think the places where I meet them is the problem since I have met them through friends, school, work, beach, etc. No atmospheres where there is drinking and partying. Mostly introduced through someone I know. Thanks for your input :)

  We all have choices and for now, you have made yours and I respect that…look up Lee Strobel (ex-atheist). That will give you several ideas as to how some atheists have proved themselves wrong. He discusses evolution, how we “brought distasters on to ourselves”, etc. So if you try to tell a serial killer that he brought a life time in jail to himself for murdering, would the community actually question “how is that possible?” (that he/she brought this kind of punishment on to himself?)We all have our definition of happiness and believe me, I couldn’t be happier without God in my life, I have seen the other side of the coin and I didn’t like it….how would you define cold or darkness?

  you have to remember that God didn’t create evil. He created us with a free will and we are the ones that ruined the perfect world He created. He gave humanity “rules” to follow from the biginning of time and we are the ones that decided to obey. Just like when you break the law, like DUI and killing someone in the process, you must pay the price. As humanity, we decided to not obey God, some to turn away from God, a.k.a.sins, and we must pay the consequences for that. We brought these things, such as genocide, earthqueakes, etc on to ourselves. There are always different reason as to way we don’t get our prayers answered. In fact, we do get an answer, it’s just not always what we “want” it to be so we tend to think we just didn’t get the answer. We just have to learn how to figure out what it is that God is trying to tell us. It’s very easy to just decide that there is no God or that God is actually mean because it’s a lot harder to admit and accept that God DOES have control over our lives. I have learned from atheists who have actually gone on a mission to disprove God and ended up disproving their atheism, this is so scientifucally, historicaly, philosophically, etc. Living in darkness is such a confusing world. I have seen the light and I have lived in it and I thank God for it. I hope you find hope and purpose. Being bitter doesn’t make things better.
