  If he really cared about you and felt that way he would be doing anything to be with you. I am sorry but it seems he wants to just be your friend. Men are fickle and prone to changing their minds, but I wouldn’t put much hope into it.

  I don’t believe anyone deserves to die. I think to put them in prison would make them suffer more and to actually think and consider what they did. They might even come to regret their actions.
  
  If you want to bring Hitler into the subject, you’re going to have to include Himmler as well–and I would even say anyone involved in the executions. Hitler was rather blasé about it while Himmler oversaw the “final solution.” But rather than be captured and tried for their crimes, they both committed suicide and took the easy way out as far as they saw it. As for the majority of people involved in the Holocaust most were very ordinary citizens like you and I. Who is to take the real blame, because they are not all ‘evil’ people?

  Such is the nature of life–especially in high school. I only talk to one friend from high school. He is my only childhood friend I have left. People find new interests (you will find you will too) so they make new friends. I lost a couple to drugs. Some others just because they fell in with a different crowd. People come and go out of our lives, but it doesn’t mean our memories with them are any different. They were your friend for a reason. You were given a chance to get to know them. And nothing can take away your past. Now you have a new future. And that is reasonably scary. The unknown can be. But it brings potential too.

  I would say if it is a situation where she is not constantly giving you a hard time for going out and having fun, then humor her. It obviously means a lot to her, and any self sacrifice you give will probably mean even more. Don’t let her control you and ruin your fun, but you need to find a compromise for this situation I believe.

  What is there possibly to dislike about somene who is wierd and over the top? Turst me, people in HS are not the best judges of character most times. I wouldn’t fret it. But actually, I’m jealous. I went through all of HS having like 2 people I actually considered my friend. And still, 4 and a half later I don’t even know them! No one ever accepted me like that lol. I just sat by myself…Lucky! :-p
