Your reply was very very well written. There are many people or groups of people (that are in opposition to racism) who believe that racism is defined as the systemic oppression of a group of people by another group of people. Here in America this is exclusive to Whites (sadly). It is ONLY the white European’s that came to this country, that founded this country, that had the power to do this. Slavery had a huge economic impact to early America. So much so that laws were passed to protect this commodity. The laws said if you had black skin you were not a full human, you were 1/3 (I believe was the value they placed on blacks) of a human. This value was ONLY placed to formulate census to decide political representation. Indentured servitude was the original ’slavery’ in this country, even of black. But LAWS were passed to say blacks were never to be freed (like the indentured Irish or Native American’s) Later, laws of segregation were passed (see Jim Crow) to further the oppression of Blacks. Blacks were the ONLY race in early America to be so systemically oppressed by the their white slave master oppressor (including such notable names as George Washington and Thomas Jefferson). Based on the above definition, Blacks have never oppressed whites systemically, they’ve not had that kind of power… by the definition above the only racism that I’m aware of is caused by White European’s Mostly against blacks… some against Native Americans, and in WW2 against Japanese Americans.

What we see today is a lot of hatred based on prejudice (pre-judging), bias and stereotyping… not pure racism. The man (regardless of color) that thinks his Mexican neighbor is a lazy ass car thief is prejudice… a neo-Nazi is racist.

After being called prejudice and being implied that I am racist… AND the mods doing nothing about it when I complained… this site can fuck off for a while. And they can do that without me.
