from listening to my mom about her and her friend they both married bad and they would would not talk to each other for like a year but when one of them would call the other one was always there to listen. so if you ever hear from her or if you see her if you just let her know that your there if she ever needs somone to lean on then she might call you somtime. in the end its her choice but if she knows there is somone there for her to lean on then maybe some of the load would be taken off her. so the main thing you can do is just be there for her if she ever needs you. In the end my mom got divorced and is happy with that. Her friend finally met a man that treats her really well. Her friend went through alot of bad relationships to get to where she is. They are still best friends and have been for 28 years now.

you could start by walking by him and saying hi. then start saying more like hi whats up and slowly saying more and more

you should try to contact her and should be there for her even if she wont leave him cause in situations like that they need all the support they can get. and maybe she didnt leave him cause she was afraid of him and afraid that he would come after her cause some guys will do that. even if she doesnt show it she may need you and maybe if you stand beside her you could make her stonger and maybe she’ll leave later. and you could be there for shane too
