2008-10-23 14:46:03 on just felt like sharing my fave poem..
this is one of my favorite love poems. aaaah.
2008-10-22 18:54:31 on I deeply believe that their is no right guy out their for me…
I have that problem. More or less. But then, I’m not that cute, or so it seems everyone I know I’m not related to thinks.
Sigh.
The way I keep myself from sinking into a black vortex of horrifying despair is by remembering any guy who would want me if I changed, and want me because of the way in which I changed, is not a guy I’d want.
Good luck, cutey =]
2008-10-22 18:46:16 on so the love of my life, left today to go back home
It kind of sounds like you’re getting played. “Oh, I’ll leave you on tenterhooks while I figure out whether or not I love you enough to let you move in with me!” Um, okay.
I agree that you should give her the time she wants to make her decision, but it isn’t ONLY her decision. You have a duty to yourself as well. To keep yourself from going crazy while you wait for her to figure out if she’s willing to let you give up your life for her.
And maybe the situation isn’t the way I see it, but. Don’t give up more than you can live with if she isn’t willing to do the same. Relationships have to be balanced.
2008-10-22 14:03:18 on This is my letter to my mum, do you think it’s ok?
Based on interactions with my own mother, she’s going to freak the holy hell out. But there’s nothing you can do to stop that if you really do want to tell her everything, and this letter is very well-written. If you do go back and talk to her very soon, she’ll be calmer. Personally, I would give it to her at night and talk to her in the morning, because she’ll have had a chance to get ready for whatever you’re going to say and to calm down.
2008-10-22 13:46:32 on My birthday is in about 2 months.
There is always a way to do what you want, even if you have to make people think you aren’t taking it. If you speak with your dad that infrequently, then it doesn’t really matter what he wants, because he doesn’t have any control over you. And you’re 20–you’re legal, so NOBODY but you has any control over you.
As for feeling old, I think it’s just something that happens. You’re practically still a kid, and even if you were turning 83, that’s no reason to give up what you love, barring physical inability.
2008-10-22 13:34:25 on Why is the energy drink Monster so popular?
eh. i love dr. pepper too. in addition, green apple jones, which may not be caffeinated, but then i’m about to pass out from exhaustion anyway so i can’t remember that much.
2008-10-22 04:59:40 on i am confused about my sexuallity and dont know what
in many cities, there are support groups for things like that. depending where you live you should be able to find people to talk to directly about coming out or not coming out or what you should do next. also, if you’re comfortable enough to do so, see if your school has a GSA–gay-straight alliance–and talk to them as well.
if that doesn’t work or makes you feel awkward or exposed, there are websites all over the place to support gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning people of all ages, and you should be able to find one of those you’re comfortable with. plus, they’re anonymous.
