  If his marriage is that bad, and he is intending to divorce (on his own, without any encouragement from you), then I would wait until that day comes.
  
  Otherwise you are just asking for trouble by declaring your love (or lust, or crush, or whatever you want to call it) for a married man. That is like setting yourself up for an affair, at which point you will want him to leave his wife, and then you could possibly find out that he is not as willing to do so. Especially if he’s having his cake and eating it to, so to speak.
  
  If I were you, I would start looking for a boyfriend who is not married.

  Cool. I think I will. :) But not because you told me to! Ha.
  
  I feel exactly the same way…about not wanting to do the same thing in the same place for your entire life. I feel like that’s where I’m heading if I don’t change things up soon.
  
  Oh, and of course I have to chime in on the home schooling thing (sorry, can’t help it!)
  
  I think home schooling gets a bad rap because most people are doing it for the wrong reasons (religious or protective). I simply did not get much of anything out of my public school education.
  
  One day a week I was sent to a different school to participate in the GT program (they call it GATE now, unless they’ve changed it again), and it was great — hands on learning catered to the level that I was working at. The rest of the time I sat in the back of my regular classroom with GT worksheets, essentially being ignored by the teacher and other students because I wasn’t doing any of the things that they were doing. It was a colossal waste of time.

  Yes, I’d definitely try a different medication. And hang in there. High school is horrible…once you graduate a whole world will open up for you.
  
  I felt exactly the same way when I was your age. I am infinitely happier now that I can live my own life however I want. I am also seeing a therapist, which has been way more helpful than it was when I was a teenager. Things will get better for you, I promise! Sooner than you think.

  We’ve considered home schooling since we’re both going to be home, so even as they get a little older it shouldn’t be a problem. I think I’m leaning more toward experiencing everything I/we want to out of life than to follow social convention.
  
  Hence the working from home and learning on our own. Wouldn’t you rather have gone to Europe to learn about European history than to have read about it in some textbook? I don’t know. A lot of people think we’re nuts, but I’m trying not to let their opinions cloud my judgment. :)

  I think it’s great that you like her…and maybe there is potential for it to be more than a “general liking,” but you certainly don’t need to feel like a failure in relationships just because you aren’t making moves on her, or if the relationship hasn’t developed into something significant overnight.
  
  I say just take it easy and don’t get overly involved with anyone until you are really compelled to. Seriously, the last thing you want to do it knock up someone who you aren’t head over heels in love with.

  Also…and this is something I didn’t realize until I was in my twenties (I know that sounds crazy, but I tended to have issues): not every encounter or date is supposed to turn into a relationship.
