Mini-Profile
I am a single parent with some disabilities. My dream is to finish my bachelor’s degree in marketing (I ran out of funding and can’t find help. I was 8 months from graduating), have my own home (cannot find help with that either), and publish a book Ive been working on,
My youngest daughter is 7 and in the 2nd grade. She enjoys going to church and often talks about how Jesus and God protects her. She likes to play with Barbies, Bratz, and baby dolls, and ride her scooter. She is excited to learn how to write cursive this year and is advanced in reading and math.
My oldest, Jayme is 13 and in the 8th grade. She has a full schedule this year. She’s in band (clarinet), and is an aide for the special needs students who have ADHD, Autism, and other conditions. She is in advanced math, and is involved in student council and pep squad. She likes to collect coins and play Pogo, and is a fan of the Jonas Brothers.
I have also begun going back to church. I am taking things at a slower pace presently.
I enjoy writing, and I am almost finished writing my first manuscript that I intent to submit for publication later on next year hopefully. It is called ‘Stepping on Life’s Cracks’. My goal with that is to be on the NY Best Seller List.
I’m highly interested in community outreach projects, and I am currently considering getting involved more with my church in that respect. I feel that nobody in need should fall through the cracks.
