My complaint about Penguin Boy Brian
When assessing Penguin Boy Brian’s hastily mounted campaigns, one need not resort to vicious name-calling or opprobrious epithets. One need only present the facts. To begin with, Penguin Boy Brian says that he is a martyr for freedom and a victim of Fabianism. That is the most despicable lie I have ever heard in my entire life.
For future reference, Penguin Boy Brian’s opinion is that it’s okay to leave the educational and emotional needs of our children in the disloyal hands of hostile derelicts. Of course, opinions are like sphincters: we all have them. So let me tell you my opinion. My opinion is that Penguin Boy Brian has been trying for some time to convince people that you and I are inferior to frowzy, shiftless lowbrows. Don’t believe his hype! Penguin Boy Brian has just been offering that line as a means to trade facts for fantasy, truth for myths, academics for collective socialization, and individual thinking for group manipulation.
Penguin Boy Brian has vowed that one day he’ll kill the goose bearing the golden egg. This is hardly news; Penguin Boy Brian has been vowing that for months with the regularity of a metronome. What is news is that from the very beginning, biggety ivory-tower academics have labored to recruit into their ranks the sons and daughters of the powerful, famous, and rich. That shouldn’t surprise you when you consider that while he has been beating the drums of mandarinism, I’ve been trying to enable adversaries to meet each other and establish direct personal bonds that contradict the stereotypes they rely upon to power their horny calumnies. In doing so, I’ve learned that Penguin Boy Brian has—not once, but several times—been able to represent Heaven as Hell and, conversely, the most wretched life as paradise without anyone stopping him. How long can that go on? As long as his raving conjectures are kept on life support. That’s why we have to pull the plug on them and make some changes here. On a closing note, I hope that this letter, while incomplete, informal, and having no authority except its own inner strength and conviction, has clearly demonstrated to you that discrediting ideas by labeling them as exploitative is an old tradition among Penguin Boy Brian’s hired goons.
