I am so stressed about this!

What about your friends? Do they know? It’s not really up to them if you move but staying in touch helps the move and knowing you don’t piss anyone off also helps. They shouldn’t stop you or tell you otherwise about it but just disappearing from everyones radar is a good way to upset someone close.

Sounds tough. Just telling him you want to go probably isn’t going to work out the way you want it to. See if you could persuade him. Tell him your views on the situation and how your job isn’t the highest paying and such. Also, don’t leave your family in the dark about this. Talk to them about this move that way you leave in good graces.
