I love this song.
I heard it a couple years ago in a car built for Sound Quality competitions and it blew my mind. I don’t even know how to explain how I love it, it’s simply wonderfull…

@pika - Ignore those people comments. If they want to bury their heads, let them do that. As long as they don’t disturb you. Still, keep your head up stand up for your ideals. If there were more people thinking like you, I believe the world would be a better place for us all. :D

@zilverknight - You are right, it really is that way. But in my way of seeing it, guys who talk about their emotions, feelings and cry, they are the ones that have grown a big sack of balls. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t be able to express themselves knowing they would be repressed and talked about. ;)

It is pathetic. What pisses me off is the fact people claim equality between men and women, but they don’t want to live up to those standards. Women don’t want to get their hands dirty, and men don’t want women to earn as much as they do.

In my opinion, the problem is most people aren’t able to think by themselves, they won’t criticize something agains the society. Not always the most accepted thing is the most correct. People need to develop constructive thinking, as opposed as to conform with all the rules.

It’s the world where we live in. But hey, if you look further, there are cool girls. My ex started doing the maintenance to her car after seeing me doing it a few times. She did not have afraid of anything (except for her aracnophobia) and she was taller than me.

But yeah, I get what you mean. It’s sad, couples would get along a lot better if there were no stupid pseudo-rules like that.

I get what you say, people tend to be more honest and not to let stereotypes of any type influence their answer when they know nothing about the poster.

It is pretty much the same reason that inclines me to sometimes post anonymously too.

Believe it or not, it does make sense to me…

Sometimes we can’t explain it, but everything just feels wrong… And there are no words to express how we feel, even to those that best know us. Being the tough one in the circle isn’t always the best thing, feelings get repressed.

It would be a good idea to get a laptop cooler. You know, those things with fans you put your laptop of top of, I don’t know how they are called exactly.

Meanwhile, you could try to clean the laptop, dust is very bad for him… And get something to lift it from the table, so air can move more freely under the laptop.

That’s an easy one. Most people will be happy as long as they have a good marriage and a job they can rely on to provide to their family.

I guess it all depends on one’s goals.

Btw, Is that one year record thing on phone, internet and stuff, global?

Call me pessimistic, but I think that won’t be more than a wish, no matter how much time we wait. =/

I must confess I have no clue about the “real id” stuff there in the states, so I can’t argue about that.

I’m focusing mainly on RFID chips containing our personal info. Around here were I live, National Citizenship cards are being replaced with another ones fitted with an RFID chip, that has too many personal info like name, address, fingerprints of all fingers (both hands) and some personal numbers, amoung lots of other stuff. Computer applications are being developed to replace even our password inputs on the computers.

The problem is, RFID chips can be read within a few meters away. And no tecnology is completely safe. Given some amount of time, anyone will be well equipped enough to read the card information in public areas, and with enough “checkpoints” people can be easily monitored.

All of that with simple RFID chips… But as we evolve, also that kind of security will evolve. RFID chips will probably be replaced with more complex ones, and so on.

I see freedom being violated here. Like I said, I know the primary purpose (as long as we know), is a good one. But things tend to go to the wrong hands.

But I guess even with a RFID chip, if things weren’t done properly, it would be just a matter of time until we all being monitored.

People are not used to think by themselves, out of the box.
If you want to implement something evil, the best way to do so is to go with little steps, and convince people that all of these little things are made for they own good…
