I Am a 32 yr old man that served 6 yrs in the 82nd AirBorne Division in the U.S.Army (U.S. Paratrooper).I am a combat Vet and have taken lives in combat. I married the 1st time at 18yrs old after having a daughter with my girlfriend at 16. We divorced when I was 20. Remarried again at 28 and now have a 3 yr old son. My past is checkered, in and out of jail for fighting when I was younger I have learned to rely on the skills acquired in the Army to avoid conflict. IE controlling my self. When younger I wrote some bad checks… and went to jail for failure to appear ( not coming to court to answer the charges )and for driving on a suspended drivers license because I didnt pay speeding tickets. My Mother and I spent time in the housing projects when I was a kid after she divorced my father for beating us for 8 years ( wasnt my real dad and I have only seen my real dad 2 times), that’s where I started smoking dope and drinking. I stopped doing that when I joined the Army. I was molested at age 4. Tried to kill my self at age 21 by hanging myself but was discovered hanging before I had died. I am now in a pillar of the community, I am well off money wise and have a wonderful wife and son. Often I use my life experiences to help young people in there lives. I am honest and I believe that you have to except somethings in life and there are no acceptable excuses for bad behavior. IE I was mistreated as a kid ect. Some decisions we make just have to be bad or worse there’s not always a right decision. There’s no substitute for loyalty, respect,selfless service and honer and duty. If you don’t know the definition of these ask me, if you chose to live by these core values your life will change for the better …. I promise.
