  I think your post is interesting and certainly is a question that a lot of other divorced partners ask themselves. I could talk a long time on this issue but it all comes down to the fact that, #1 It takes two people to make a decision to be married and #2, It only takes one to decide to be divorced. This always leaves one person happy and the other miserable. Obviously you are the hurting one and in this case that’s ok because loving someone is not a bad think. Love him for the good he gave you, forgive him for causing you pain, pray for his wellbeing and for guidance for yourself. Twenty years later I still love my ex. I have moved on, remarried etc. Beautiful grandaughter to share time with. Self-employed, sing gospel music and teach guitar. Point being , you’ve got to get busy with what your talents are and love will come to you which will lessen the pain and torment of losing your spouse. Sometimes, lost lovers have to be treated as deceased. Best wishes and to you!!

• What’s the quickest most effective way to learn to play an instrument?
  

  You can know everything there is to know about music without playing any instrument. Many vocalists study music theory to understand pitch, intervals etc. If you want to play music though, purchase the theory and method books and find a mentor who can help when you find you don’t understand something. There are a lot of musicians that just want to be helpful and not just to become wealthy. Good luck!!

  What do you do after school each day. No sports, music classes, dance, ? You seem to have too much free time for a while in the evinings. This is a bad time for young people to be “not busy”. What you are feeling is not really unusual at this point in your life and if you talk to others who are “not busy” you may find they feel the same way. You have said you have loving parents soooo, you should talk to them about your feelings and see if they can help you get some direction about how to best use that time. Good Luck & Best Wishes!!

  Anyone who plays music can probably record it for you but I’m sure you would have to sacrifice some of the instrumentals. It’s you that we want to hear anyhow. Do you have any musician friends? How about your music teacher?

  The joy in life is in the giving. Doesn’t have to be money but it does have to come from the heart. The more you give of yourself the more you will receive. Examine yourself for what you have to offer. Can you teach anything like music or dance? Can you read to the blind or aged? How about packaging gifts for overseas destitute families. Write letters for those who can’t because of illness. Take up a collection and buy postage stamps to send to the local jail so the inmates can send cards to their relatives and other lonely people. There are a zillion things you can do to break the cycle you are in that keeps you from finding that one person that you need in your life. I’ve been there, empathize with you, and don’t envy you.
