That really all depends how honest everyone is being. And not only to the other person, but to themselves. For example… do you desire to just hang with your ex… ORRRR do you still have deep unsettled feelings and you long to feel something… ANYTHING that may be close to those past feelings. If it’s the later I’d give yourself more time. If you are certain you are over her, and just want to hang… cool :) NOW… if SHE is playing games and it turns out she has some deep unsettled feelings … for example she trys to hold your hand… get up and walk out right there. You do not play games with feeling / emotions. She did you wrong enough my friend… she shouldn’t be playing (and you should let her) games. But if you can be friends after a break up… that can be pretty cool.

hey richard im a little confused right now and i was wondering…today my ex posted a picture with her and her new bf together and i started collapsing inside so i talked to her and im fine now. i think me and her can manage a friendship and she wants to hang out sometime just me and her and i dont no what to do and in school its weird cause she talks to me as a friend and i guess i can handle that but would it be wise to hang out with her alone in a movie theatre

I think to ponder such things is too soon. For now you have to get past it all. Sure anything is possible. If my first girlfriend were to come back into my life today I know things are very different with ME, so it might work better. I think in this instance it would not be true. You’ve given her 2 chances if I remember right, and she took the opportunity to betray you both times. That’s not a good track record.

hey richard an old friend told me “if your one true love leaves you, and ends up coming back to you you, two were meant to be”
do you think that is true, this made me think about what if my ex came back but i dont no if i should take her back
