I am from Michigan. I moved to California 7 years ago when I graduated college. I moved in with an abusive boyfriend. I was alone in California and scared to death. He threatened to hurt me and abandon me. I didn’t have money and was embarrased to call home for help. I got a job with a company that serves adults with developmental disabilities. They embrassed me like family. While at this job I met my future father in law. I wasn’t saved at the time but he always planted seeds in me about the Lord. Well to make a long story short - this man my father in law and my pastor is the most humble, kind, honest, and god fearing man I have ever met. He truely loves the Lord and is willing to do whatever the Lord asks him to do. He took me in, feed, clothed, and ministered to me when I was in need and I saw him do it for countless others. He brings the stranger, the homeless, the lost and the broken right into his home and treats them like family and you know what? each and every one is better as a result of my dad’s trust in the Lord. My dad is in danger of loosing his home (the home that the doors always remain open to help others, that he brings others in with his family and makes they know what a real family feels like) and my dad is in danger of loosing his church (he gives all the money they have and all they have is his wifes disability check) to pay the rent. We need help. I saw my mom cry today and I don’t every want to have to see her cry anymore because she give her entire being to help others. Please help.

I loved Human Services / Social Work

I love Volley ball, Track & Field

All of my jobs have been in the field of developmental disabillities

Abuse/neglect of Children, Homelessness, Education System
