  I feel exactly the same. I’ve lived in the same village and grew up with my friends since we were really young, and although we get along most of the time and go out places together, it’s always me that has to make the effort to see them. and they don’t go out of their way to get me to come along. I feel like they do that for eachother though. I don’t know if it’s just paranoia or me being pathetically insecure, but I really do know what you mean. I’m usually just there with them because I put myself there, and although technically I’m “part of their group” I feel like it’s only because of the circumstances (we all live near eachother & went to high school together) not because they actually really want me with them.

  There are so many things you can’t tell even through these things though. You don’t know how she treats people around her, she might be really unhygienic or way too nervous and awkward around meeting people in person. On the other hand she might not be, or those things might not bother you, and a month is a good space of time to learn about someone. Good luck.

  You really, really can’t get a clear idea of what she’s like until you meet in person. However well you may feel you know her, you could end up stuck in the awkward position of realising she’s not quite who you thought she would be. How would you get out of there politely if it was to go wrong in any way?
