ohhhh you’re trying to manipulate her by using a pseudo form of ultimatum. Yeah don’t do that. Let her know that you aren’t going to be around forever by letting her see other girls hit on you. Also, don’t forget the golden rule, make her feel good about herself.

I know a good bit about it.

Positive effects:

Free labor = cheaper production cost makes you more competitive in a global market where slavery isn’t legal in most other competitive countries.

Slaves typically are a one time investment, after that you own them and their offspring. As long as they are handled with proper care the return on the investment is virtually limitless

Negative effects:
Some countries/people will not buy products in which slavery was used to produce them
Slaves can revolt, meaning you are taking a measured risk and could lose everything
Slavery is wrong (could write a whole essay on that)

The biggest negative effect of slavery, economically speaking is that once an economy is based on slavery it becomes dependent on it, meaning, once youre in there is no viable way out. Use the South after the civil war as an example, the economy fell apart because they could no longer produce at the same low costs.

I disagree with black, you have a good idea here, if things are weird now that you have discussed your feelings for each other, then perhaps if you communicate that you DO still have feelings for her and you dont have feelings for anyone else but that things are just weird and maybe if you go back to being just friends you guys can work it out before you lose each other then I think it could work. You have to make sure she knows you aren’t letting her down easy but that that is really how you feel.

ah, well its still slow going, I got invited somwhere for the first time this past weekend so that was really great, but I dont have a group of friends yet so I would say, yeah, things still goign pretty slow, but an improvement over the first 3 weeks. just keep your head up eh?

Those are some great goals anon. I love traveling> I know I want to see the world, and then leave my mark on it. I want to make it better, to do something big, and die knowing I helped people.

I am doing those things for the most part (= it definitely takes time. If you try to force things you come off as desperate you just have to let people learn that you are around and hope someone accepts you I suppose. but thanks for the advice (=
