I remain young and jubilant, though my many failed attempts to surpass my prescribed age and I must deal with this ailment and its drawbacks. Many days before college and during, I wished there were a way for me to go to sleep and wake up when I am accomplished and loved and have a family out of the a fairytale. Not the original fairytales, but the “cutesied” up ones from Disney. I wanted to do this because I thought that if I were to move somewhere where no one knew my name, then everything would magically be all better. I was sadly mistaken and have been paying for it ever since. This is my case with college. There are many other reasons for my feelings towards my college but at present I am coping with this hand life has dealt me, though I have never been good at poker. I am learning though, I am learning that if a situation is real in your life then it is also real in its consequences. I got that last part from my psych teacher. College is teaching me what I never intended to learn and that’s what makes it truthfully beautiful within chaos.
