  People keep talking about media influence. Well this is a computer age, where we can frelly find information and seek some form of truth behind the lies rather than take people’s word for anything in any country.
  
  People all around the world may hate America.. but I can also say, that most people in the United States hate Bush..so… where is the real difference? I do not know if people overseas understand how much the American people dislike this president and how tired they are of this war. It is a shame really cause it does give off wrong signals. Forget your newspapers and the media.. look up the info yourself and talk to people to get the real story cause I would bet that we are more similar than we can even imagine.
  
  If you have not guessed I am American, proud of it, as I think anyone, from any counntry should be proud- but yeah there are things wrong with America..like every country. Think of this if you want to talk about the media, now I am american and have been watching all the debates… just one minute on the news… about an anti-war protest outside the third debate from soldiers who had returned…one minute and I never saw that story again. I can only imagine what other countries see of America..so I can understand, but I would like to think that people understand the falsehood of the media..so would everyone, american or not, just take the time to not take the media’s word for everything and find the answers for themselves.

  I would not try killing having feelings for anyone. Just when it comes to this site, or any online interaction, keep it in perspective and do not let your imagination over-ride what really is, that is when you begin to feel foolish, because you have “tricked” yourself, but people do that everyday with people they like, I would not be so hard on yourself about it, just learn as best as you can from it.

  Ok the next time he says something like that.. just remember if he can joke about taking a “relationship sabbatical with my girlfriend” then there is something wrong. No one throws their girlfriend, boyfriend, hell even their just friend under the bus like that.

• For the sake of my curiosity, can you tell me how each of you has been affected by the declining economy?
  

  The business that I worked for had to close it’s doors. my father and brother are out of work, my parents home value is disgusting, so now they are trying to hold on till prices get a little better. It has been getting worse slowly,… but steady for years..I think it all just came to a head recently.

  Obama has alo of work ahead of him, I really think it depends on who he surrounds himself with in the white house..I think he will do well.. with good people around him. I am personally a Lincoln fan, so it is promising he is from the same state, lol. Just have to wait and see..there is alot to take care of.
