The business that I worked for had to close it’s doors. my father and brother are out of work, my parents home value is disgusting, so now they are trying to hold on till prices get a little better. It has been getting worse slowly,… but steady for years..I think it all just came to a head recently.

Obama has alo of work ahead of him, I really think it depends on who he surrounds himself with in the white house..I think he will do well.. with good people around him. I am personally a Lincoln fan, so it is promising he is from the same state, lol. Just have to wait and see..there is alot to take care of.

Which Biome?

Mortality..the fact of death and dying.. leads alot of people to wonder not just about their life, but the over all point of it. So once that child lost someone close to them or what have you.. the question would arise..and in time that “gap” would be filled with some sense of faith, lack of faith, spirituality, or belief. Hope you catch my drift.

I think people eventually do search for some kind of meaning or guidence… whether it be religious, or spiritual, etc. I think if a child is told nothing of these ideas that the question and curiousity or the “meaning of life” would happen at the time when they discover morality.

That would be a great idea! Really engage the kids.

I do not know how to respond, lol. well i understand your thoughts on alot of the issues, however I would never say America is the best country in the world..I think all countries have the good and bad qualities. People are rarely proud of the government that represents them..most people disagree with their governments on one issue or another. America is based on an idea…but you have to dig deep to find that now-a-days, but it is there, as it is with every nation- a sense of identity and history.

It is in the history of the people that a country finds pride, not in the history of it’s governing bodies. I am not proud of this government, but that does not define the people..I cannot look to Iran, lets say.. and claim that their government defines all the people within that country. Or Russia or anywhere.

It is about separating the good from the bad and not using labels or flags to do it.

I get your point. Seems like you know what you need to do to be happy…just have to allow yourself to do them, stop letting the junk get in the way. Happens to everyone, just have to push through it. I know everyone says that, but the way you are feeling now, is not going to get better if you do not change it. Perhaps it is not about “control” but learning to let go of things that you cannot control.

Hope it works out. Try to pick a song with lyrics that have a message or moral, like a story.. that way the children can also learn about other aspects of reading. The one without words would be great for musical terminology, and then you can compare the two..on concepts of tone and emotion, vs.. words and emotion… Do you need words in a song for it to be emotional or tell a story? You could run a thousand miles with this lesson, but the limit in time makes it difficult. Bottom line have fun with it.
