i know that the high-tech industries are thriving now in india, that can be a good start for a job,
you should move to the big city, where people around you will be as open minded as you and such behavior as you describe would not be acceptable.

I agree with Chipku
getting a job on your own would let you have your own money, and will set you free to make your own choices.
no one can t ell you not to study something you like if you are the one paying for it.
you can just leave home without asking permission or getting married or anything like that, renting your own apartment in the city, close to your work…

i also agree about all those nut heads in the post, whats up with this anyway…
