  That’s a nice thought. Thanks for writing, I hope you somehow get better. I believe that the body is capable of doing the most astonishing healing, and lot of it is based on morale, breathing and alimentation.

  You know, I liked a lot your answer, and don’t know why but “rubbing something on someone’s face” always brings a light to me… Must be that I’m very competitive (or mean, lol).
  I think I got depressed and stuck for so long that I forgot the possibilities of life.

  Well, I’m glad you turned that experience into something good.
  Someone very close to me died some months ago, and I think (thought?) my fighting spirit died with her, I didn’t remember what was that feeling of feeling tough, but reading your comment makes me remember about it and think that it might as well deserve a second chance.

  That used to keep me moving some time ago… But I don’t know what happened… I think some people made me feel bad about that and I stopped feeling good for kicking ***… Then now that I look back, most of the times I’ve lost recently are because I left other people win (metaphorically), and I realize I’m doing that all the time.

  Mmm… thanks for the comment but somehow that doesn’t fulfill me. I’m not used to do things just because “yes”.
  I’m definitely sticking around but curiosity and hope rely at the bottom into something more than myself (curiosity: finding something I find amusing, hope: finding something I hope for), and I can’t use those as motivation :S

  I thought of that like 8 months ago… Worked for a bit, and then it banished… Don’t know why, but it didn’t work for me. Maybe because it only motivates me not to die, but doesn’t for doing something more.

  Well, if I had someone who depended on me that would be fine, but right now I have not, and I don’t know when that will happend but I can’t count on it happening.

  You know, I have always felt great admiration for Irish people (hope you are really irish, lol), they’ve always seemed like good fighters to me.
  
  I like your points, and actually they helped me a lot.
  Knowing how few one has of life compared to how much you have of dead puts it into perspective.
  You read my mind with that thing about the rock and the free will, I think I somehow was expecting something from the exterior to come and make things better, but then realized (or just acted without thinking) that it wouldn’t come if I didn’t do something.
  I think I’ve been stuck with depression and stuck in generally for so long that I’ve forgotten what it is to feel alive, that’s why I might feel demotivated.

  Agree.
  But I don’t think it is a problem per se.
  The problem is the lack of a system to educate and solve common problems (talkin on a civilization/country level).
  The same would happen with technology, except technology is a business.
  And psychological and self education is not a direct requirement for survival. So it is not given the importancy it needs.
