  1. We don’t go out to eat, we can’t afford it.
  2. My phone bill is $25 a month through Vonage
  3. There is no public transportation where I live. We don’t have bus service. I carpool with my office manager a few days during the week.
  4. We actually went without gas; no hot water, no stove/oven for over two months. I had to grill or mircowave everything we ate.
  
  I drive a Ford Aspire 1994. $20 will last me almost two weeks. I pakc my kids lunches.
  
  College books are not cheap. But I know if I stick with it to get my degree, it will be worth it.
  
  I am not looking for a handout, but a way to get out of the payday cycle.

  Here’s the thing, while outwardly it may appear as if she is handling the stresses well, internally she may not be. The daily stresses of life, for women, can cause us not to want to have sex or even have the energy for it.
  
  Instead of focusing on the sex, show her your love in other ways. Do the dishes, take out the trash without her asking. Find something romantic or that she is interested in that you can do free or cheap and do it.
  
  I can tell you the best sex my husband and I have had is when he pitched in around the house, didn’t get on the computer to check his fantasy football teams and was really “there” for me all day.

  First, you need to put the bottle down. If you truly want to do the best for your daughter, you’ll stop drinking.
  
  Second, seek professional help. Depression is a chemical imbalance. Therapy and certain medications will help you get over this hump in your life. Sometimes you don’t even need the meds, but the therapy. It gives you someone to talk to and also offers tools for you to use in dealing with stressful situations.
  
  Third, meet with an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, there are usually public attorneys you can meet with for a cheap fee. They can guide you in your battle for your daughter. Are you on the birth certificate? Have either of you filed paperwork? If no paperwork has been filed with the courts, you need to do it quick. If she does it first, you could wind up owing a ton of back child support. It will also look better if you are the first to file.
  
  Be prepared. You have to pull yourself together if you want custody of your daughter. Your ex will wind up digging up any dirt she can on you. If you are drinking, she’ll bring that up and that will look worse than her cheating, believe it or not.
  
  I know it is tough right now. You have every right to your feelings, but you also need help gaining some perspective. Good luck.
