Well.. Ms. Edie I guess we all have to do what we all have to do. Thank you for your considerate approach, it’s very much appreciated. And for the record, you have always helped me. You have always made me smile, and a few times brought a tear or two but it’s all in a good way. I hate to see you go and you’ll be missed greatly, but I’m trying to understand here, so bear with me.
People here can be, or do, or say whatever they want to. But the reality is that over a period of time we all learn a bit about each other. These little bits of info show us just enough of the other person for us to become attached to them. It’s a longer more drawn out version of “will you be my friend” just like we learned as children. Only now, we are adults, and now our lives are mixed in with the friends we’ve made online that truly made us smile. So if this is to be my last shout to you, I suppose I had better say all I wish to say now, right?
I have enjoyed you so much, all your little quirks and silliness, your happy days and the ones where you didn’t smile very much. The hugs, the funny emails, and the little bit I see as the real Edie. You have my email, you have my number, if you want to talk you know how to reach me. Take care of you and I expect that sometime in the distant future we will meet again, I know that because paths cross for a reason and ours did. I miss you already.
