  I think you should devise a plan to ask a friend to ask him if he likes you, and then have that friend relay a message to another friend and then tell you. Then you can spend a couple of months analyzing the situation and then make your move.

  You shouldn’t feel afraid to talk to your parents about it. You should see a doctor, as there are a number of reasons why someone can be feeling depressed. Sometimes it’s a chemical imbalance, but sometimes it’s just a matter of counseling. Your parents are there to help you. They’d worry even more if it seemed like you had a problem and weren’t telling them anything. At least they would know what was up.
