  ok…I’ve dealt with this kind of situation alot… alcoholism, drug addiction, you name it. I’m a nurse and i’ve seen stuff like this so many times with ppl and alot with my own family and friends. first i must tell you that a person will only seek help for this when it is the only way. as long as they see another way of escaping from the pain or whatever they are treating with their addiction they will choose the alternative. unfortunately… most ppl don’t see that it’s that bad until it’s too late. all of the drugs you’ve mentioned are potentially deadly. with you being the one who’s sober and responsible you have a choice to make. you can either hope that he’ll see the situation as as bad as it truly is and seek help. with that comes the risk of overdose and death. these drugs affect every part of your body. even something as mild as hydrocodone is deadly in large enough doses and heroin is very easily overdosed on. so the notion that he will get help on his own is a very dangerous one. the next option is that YOU see the situation as bad as it really is. YOU need to see how dangerous and deadly this game is before it’s too late. Would you rather ur boyfriend be in jail or dead? pretty simple choice isn’t it. even if he got mad at you and hated you for life for telling on him… if you truly care bout him wouldn’t it be better to have him hate you for life and be safe rather than to love you for protecting him and him dying from it? If you take this over and make him get help… you’re saving his life. if you ever do get him cleaned out he won’t hate you he’ll be grateful. he’s not himself when he’s on drugs. you know that. you have to do whatever it takes to save him. no matter what.

• Compulsive Eating/Binging
  

  most eating disorders are symptoms of a deeper problems. most of the time they have to do with feelings of powerlessness and guilt. most people that have eating disorders feel they have no control of anything in their lives and the only thing they can control is what kind of food they put in their mouths… and with binge eating and then vomiting it back up, the release of eating whatever they want is followed by intense guilt over what they’ve done that they feel they shouldn’t've eaten. so they make themselves throw up. if any of this applies to you you should really try to seek and find out what the underlying cause is that makes you do the things you do. but do so immediately. these behaviors are extremely dangerous and most ppl don’t see the danger it causes for their body.

  well… some of the clinical indicators for depression are things like a general loss of interest in daily activities, a depressed mood. sleeping too much or sleeping to little. google depression and look for a site that looks reputable. look on there and see if you fit the symptoms. if so there are many treatment options that may be of benefit to you.
