and balance exists in extremes! :P - you can balance 1gram, with 1gram, or 10,000,000 tons with 10,000,000 tons :P - the balance isn’t how extreme you go, its making sure there is a equal force on the other side! - only zen buddists try to actually exisist directly in the grey! “to eliminate all sorrow - you must eliminate all happiness”
To give an example, I sacrifice my popularity with many, for very tight friendships with few :)

As for strength in weakness - you’ll be able to tell me that once your list is done! - but, as an example - i’m different in many many ways, which gets me into trouble because i don’t agree with many - so, i turn that around, and say i have a different perspective, and i’m rarely wrong from mine - the very same weakness, that has got the crud kicked out of me for many years, now is a strength - its not changed at all - if anything, only become stronger!

and i could colour you Yellow - i don’t have a bashful colour in my pallette ;P

oh, and don’t be offended i’m saying nothing in your poems - my mind translates things like that in odd ways, so i don’t tend to bother ;)

Scared yet? - c’mon - try harder! - all you’re coming off with at the moment is a intelligent lass who’s lost her footing, and fallen over! - its hard to see your path when you’re face down in the mud staring at a muddy puddle! - Your entire problem comes from not being able to take life, and not liking yourself, so you hide - possibly a oversimplification, but am i wrong?

Ultimately, you ARE you, and if you don’t like yourself, change the rules! - thats what i did :P - I’ve found the world doesn’t care how i percive it, so, rather than changing myself to fit into a world that doesn’t accept me, i though I would change the world to fit in around me! - it worked :D - I stopped hiding from myself, and stood tall from what was thrown at me, and endured - and suddenly… the world… changed - i can’t really define it better than that, but i started being accepted for who i am - yes, i will never belong, yes, i have no luck with most ladies (they can’t relate to me! :P) yes, my freinds circle is damned small, and they all regard me as weird too - but again, i’m accepted, and most of all, HAPPY - in a way i would never be if i tried to please others :D - strangely, i now CAN please others by being myself, because i am trusted :P

And my fun defense mechansim - I don’t lie - If you want to know something, you merely have to ask the question ;) - strangely, few do…. - most don’t care, and if they don’t, i sure as hell don’t care about what they think! - so, my defence relys on peoples ignorance, of which there is plenty in this world! - cynical perhaps, but no less true :P - and as it turns out, highly effective :P

How old are you out of curiousity? - i’ve always looked years younger than my age (its embarressing to be ID’d at 28!) (i’m 29 now) - but it runs in the familly :)

And, its only too late to pull yourself together when you are dead :P - so - whats stopping you?

Lets see… Just keeping things short (ask questions! talk to me for more detail - i don’t want to bore you rabbiting on about things that you know/don’t care about/ are irrelevant!

First, i would ask why you dropped out?
Second, I would ask why your medical aid has run out?
Third, i would ask why you drink into a stupor, and make out with any guy that buys you a drink?

As for thoughts
- What do you want to be - what do you see your potential as?
- The mind is a fantastic thing… I am lucky to only get only minor mental disorders (such as dyslexia) which are possible to work around - but i DO know, that for each flaw, there is a gem somewhere - and its a matter of not focusing on your weakness’s, its a matter of focusing on your strengths… - here is a good moment to tell me what they are!
- A old adage for you “Should you try to drown your sorrows, remember that your sorrows can swim”
- Making out with any guy that buys you a drink? - most commonly done to boost self esteem - which i have to comment is a waste :P - hold out for 2 at least! (and when you can get that consistantly, hold out for 3! :D - everyone needs a boost of some description (I just refer to myself as fantastic all the time - it works for me! :P) is there another reason? - and what do they have to do to get in your pants? Its quite funny really, since if they are buying you drinks, you must be not bad looking at all! :P
- Lets see… mastering the arts of hiding yourself… never a bad thing - we all need a defense mechanism :) mines quite fun! :P - ultimately, its fine - but you also need to know when to lets someone in, and BE HONEST with them - although finding someone that you can is rare now-adays - but there are the honorable people still out there!

If you are wondering why i’m here, then a story is needed :) - in time past, I came across this site from a question i googled - which was “do you ever stop missing an ex?” - and i got a answer here :) - And - in payment, i sat down, and i started giving people advice, based on how i see things… I’ve always had a… different… view on things than most people, and i enjoy helping others :)

And if you are wondering what I hope to get out of this? (since it is a sad truth that noone does something for nothing) - all i want is the occasional “thank you” or “thats really helped :D” - or, even better, is actually seeing them grow :)

What brings you to this site then?

yes! it was true! you can’t buy lions now but it was nothing back in 1969. If you have ever read born free. it all took place in Africa. I thought it would be boring but after seeing the clip had to know more about George adamson. and so since born free was written by his wife I picked it up at a local library. I loved the book it made life in Africa seem so exciting and like one long ongoing adventure. I’m guessing that isn’t really what it’s like living in Africa but I enjoyed the book. Maybe since you live in africa you can tell me more about it!!

I am reading a lion call Christian. it’s about two young men in 1969 bought a lion in a local London department store. they raised it but it became too big for their apartment. so by chance they met the actors from the movie born free who contacted George adamson for them and he agree to rehab the lion back in to the wilds of Africa. they mad a movie about it to finance the project; it was called the “lion at worlds end.” any way early 2008 some one caught a clip of the movie and put it on utube you should watch it. I found it on the net and watched it over and over. it had me in tears. hey… im sorry.. I havent been around much lately.. How are you? I really really wanted to read The Host but I am broke now and books here are expensive.. Remember how I said my counselor would still see me? Well…she will but only under certain conditions! She made me sign a contract today saying that I wouldn’t use the suicide hotline or call her more than once a week if I do she’ll discharge me.

Counseling. Luckily my counselor will still see me. Unfortunately, she just diagnosed me with Borderline Personality Disorder.

That sucks. The government pulled mine because they felt I was making too much money because they thought I didn’t have to pay rent, which is false. So now I have to appeal their decision. SO I can somewhat relate.

Hey hows it goin ? I make the still images first in Paint Shop Pro, usually 15 - 20 images, which is what takes the most time, then I use Jasc Animation Shop which basically sticks all the images together.

Once the still images are stuck together in an animation, they get played over and over, and that’s what makes it look like a moving image.

Yeah, it can be a lengthy process for such a small result, lol.

Hi. I’m so glad your out of the hospital. I hope your alright now!! depression is rough stuff. I have been there. I’m not at work right now because we had a big ice storm. normally I would try to go to work but we had an ice storm chirstmas eve and my husband fell and broke his hip. I had a bad holiday!! any way I decided not to try to go into work till the snow truck got to my street and salted. right now it’s solid sheet if ice. yes we will have to share poems!! bye for now!!

A little frustrated. I have been feeling a bit suicidal and whenever I try to reach out for help using my local help line I am basically told to stop thinking that way.

Yes! I like to read… when I have time. I write a little poetry as well. sounds like Pretoria’s having their rainy season. It is ice cold here.. it was 26 degrees today. we got about 3 inches of snow last week. but it’s all melted now. I love the rain too and thunder storms are the best!!! My dog hates them.. she hides in the bathroom shakes till their over. Do you have any pets?

it’s not about vampire,.. it’s about this old couple, where the husband recalling back their memories from a journal. It’s one of the sweetest romantic story!! The movie touched my heart. :D

and then im going to read P/s I love you. People say that the book is better than the movie :)
