A bit of knowledge (from my own personal experience): When you are deeply rooted and grounded in love with someone, you delight in making them happy. You want to do what they want because it makes YOU joyful and when they truly love you back it’s the same thing for them.
I am NOT religious. (the following may or may not make you believe I’m insane) I’m in LOVE with God. The 1st and greatest commandment is love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind. The Word of God (the bible) is alive. It speaks to me and if you let it, it will reveal God to you. He is an INSANELY COOL GUY!! and it makes me sad that over time people have grown to hate Him because they don’t know him. All they have is the understanding of other people but never for themselves cracked open the Bible and saw for themselves who God really is. As a lover, guide, friend, creator and so much more.
