• calling collect with free nights and weekends?
  

  You can’t call a cell phone collect, only landlines. And anyway, that’s not how the phone plans work. A person is charged their minutes if they make or receive a call. During their free nights/weekends/whatever - any call they make or receive doesn’t count against their monthly minute allowance. In your case, it sounds like this person would have to call you during their free minute time so that neither of you incur charges.

  If you’re having a problem with charges on a credit card, go through the credit card company. That’s a lot easier than trying to randomly email a CEO of a company.

  I was trying to think of something silly that happened in the past year and really couldn’t. 2008 has probably been one of the worst years of my life and I can’t wait until it’s over. I’m looking forward to starting anew.
  
  Oh wait, I remember something funny. I moved back to Tampa in February, and decided I needed a cat. My dad found a kitten listed in the newspaper that needed a home; it had followed a little boy home from school and the family couldn’t keep it. It was a medium hair cat - really pretty furry, and they said it was a girl, who I named Zoe. I had Zoe for three months or so, then decided it was time to get her fixed. When I went to pick up my little princess, she turned out to be a he. I felt like such a doofus when I picked him up from getting neutered. I mean, how do you miss something like that?? I guess I just never *looked* to see what sex he was. So Zoe became Ziggy. Funny thing too, as soon as I changed his name he actually started responding to it. It was as if he knew his name was wrong so he just ignored it until I figured out he was actually a boy.

Your daughter truly does love you; just doesn’t know how to express the pain she is feeling. I’m new to help.com, but caught one of your replies that was so thoughtful and caring and so I read through some of your posts.
