Hi Guys. It thought you’d all like to know that I popped the big question on the weekend and she said yes! I want to thank you all for taking an interest and for helping me swallow nerves and ask her out. What can I say? I’m a happy, happy man. Cheers, Phil.
I know I’m late, but I wanted to congratulate you. Congratulations! :)

Thank you all. I’m sorry I haven’t responded sooner. A friend was helping me out. I appreciate all of your wonderful comments, and I appreciate each and every one of you.
I’m doing better now.
A lot of this has been brought on by school, extra-curricular responsibilities, an emotionally abusive parent, being unemployed and living at home, etc.
Today I woke up and realized I had forgotten to do two large assignments while I was sick this weekend+, and I freaked out and stayed home. Just sort of cascaded and everything began toppling on.
I do think it would be nice to talk with a counselor. I’m not sure how to set up such an arrangement. Maybe one of the campus academic advisors might have a lead for me.

2011-02-28 07:53:33 on What is water made up of ?
Water is made of very very small objects called molecules. These molecules are made of even smaller objects called atoms. Each water molecule is made the exact same way, with one oxygen atom and two hydrogen atoms.
Now, not all water is so simple. Sometimes water has other things mixed in with it, like minerals, bacteria, dirt, chemicals, etc. Depending on where it came from, how it was cleaned, etc. Tap water in the USA, for instance, often has minerals added, sodium fluoride, chlorine, etc. But if you have pure water, it is made JUST of water molecules which are always 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom. Also written as H2O.
There are two different ways of taking charcoal I think. I am not expert on the subject, but I think that one does cause vomiting while the other has the tendency to absorb toxins.
I did not know that. I found this: https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedi…
As for the silver, I haven’t ever come across any ill effects ever and I have known quite a few people who have taken it. If you were to swallow a small but solid piece it would be harmful even if it were small enough to pass through the digestive tract somehow. I won’t sit here and claim to know how it works, but I believe that it has to do with the particles being so small and being in some sort of altered state. But my advice as all on here is worth exactly what was paid for it. Nada.
I had a coworker for a short while who said he used it, even told me how to make it with a little silver bar, water, electric current, etc. (I don’t remember the process now, but it was fascinating at the time) I’ve seen no proof one way or another on the issue of it’s efficacy or danger, but I do know that many consider it to be “snake oil”.
You could look up some stuff that would help inhibit infection. Colloidal silver helps as does thieves oil. Thieves oil is not something that should be consumed as it is only a topical solution. There are versions of it that are very effective that can be used as a mouthwash.
Be cautious about colloidal silver. There is a very polarized debate about whether it is useful or dangerous.
By the way the charcoal is generally used for poisons and other stuff, but I would imagine that it would help prevent the infection from spreading too much.
My understanding is that charcoal is used to induce vomiting in patients who have ingested poison. I could be wrong though.
