• (1 vote) Iv heard of hearing voices in your head but what about music?
  

  Here are two perspectives
  
  1. Science
  Your brain could be misfiring somehow due to something biological in your brain, or something to do with how your brain functions and what you have been exposed to during the day to cue a memory of music. There are people who see colours when they hear sound, so perhaps you hear sound when you think of something in particular.
  If seizures can cause a person’s body to move, perhaps a certain kind of seizure could cause music to play in your head.
  
  2. Spiritual
  Depending on your beliefs, you could be picking up on some kind of message, some music from somewhere or something.
  
  
  Perhaps you could try thinking of other things, feeling other emotions and see if that affects the music in your head.

  lol! That sounds so familiar!
  You become concerned that everyone else seems to have figured out their path, yet you’re somewhat stuck. My cousin is becoming a lawyer, my boyfriend is applying for med school, my friends have nice jobs etc.
  
  I agree with what leapingcanine and anonymous wrote about living life and how the opporunities will come.
  And I agree with Finley in how accepting the state you are in as being normal and then making plans and taking action is the best thing.
  
  If you had no limitations, money was not an issue, what would you want to do?
  I know if I had money right now, I would be going to volunteer in Africa, or travel.

  If your step-mother and step-sisters make fun of you for being overweight, that indicates that they feel insecure about themselves. Assertively tell them how you feel. Tell them that you are not comfortable with how they make fun of you, and you feel disrespected.
  
  Also, love yourself for how you are now. Your value as a person is not equivalent to your weight. You deserve respect no matter what your weight is.

  It may be fungus. A veterinarian or staff at the fish store would probably have more knowledge on this.

  Wow ptgrunne,
  That is really sad that you live in an area with religious people sharing one view only. In Canada, we have a wide assortment. There are religious people with PhD’s who are pro-gay, pro-research and pro-sex education (many are mixed when it comes to abortion). Many religious people are in the sciences. There is also much respect for every religion including the choice of atheism. I am sure that you would fit in well :).

  ptgrunne does raise the important point of freedom of religion. Remember that most countries in the world promote freedom of religion, meaning that you are also free not to have a religion if you wish. If you feel pressured to find one, then you may not be happy trying to fit yourself into a mold. Spirituality is a personal decision, so find what suits you.

  I agree with the above posts; there are many options that you can try.
  Another way to look at it is that everyone has a right to have their own feelings, and everyone deserves to have their feelings respected.
  
  Here is an example of an assertive statement for relationships:
  
  “I feel (emotion) when you (action) on (date).”
  ex. “I felt demeaned when you called me a rubber chicken in front of my friends last Wednesday.”
  
  What strategy can you think of that you would like to try? You know what is right for you.

  I am referring in particular to “One suggests you remove that pole from your ****.” Did you mean that in a kind way? I am confused.
  A conversation is an agreement between two people to communicate. Once one person starts giving orders to the other, they are imposing on the other person and disrespecting them. How are fights resolved? People start communicating, and listening to each others’ views and feelings.
