Love being a connection is based on my own thoughts. I see love as connecting to another person or Higher Being. As for how to connect to someone, love them and feel happy and peaceful doing that. If it feels awkward or uncomfortable, then it’s not love.
Accepting each other’s freedom is important. The psych behind that is how when one denies the other’s freedom, they are imposing on them. Love is not an imposition.
Usually when people try to control others, they are feeling that their needs are not being met, so they need help.
Love is quite complicated. I like Sternberg’s theory, in which love is a combination. This article sums it up nicely :). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triangul…
You said ‘Love is tapping into the pool of limitless energy, by reaching out and connecting.’ How can u reach out and connect? and is love accepting each others freedom?
Aww! That’s so cute! It’s so awesome when kids discover things.
I’m kind of the same. I’m into art, and psychology, but then sometimes I flip over to my math/science side every so often :P.
colours are fab, and i love seeing children mix them. last week when i was in placement at this school this 4/5 year old kid was mixing colours with oil pastels, yellow and blue. and was like “look!!! it’s making green!” it was so cool. he was well amazed as well which was cute.
Im into art and psychology. and working with kids has psychology in it as well. i love pretty much anything to do with creativity, emotions, self expression, and colour. also the imagination!
I used to work with children. I love their different perspectives of looking at things, and their facial expressions of fascination when I teach them something new.
What made you decide to pursue a career with kids?
(and I guess we’ll keep this nonspecific, since it is posted on the internet)
Thanks!
I should point out though, that even though I am in psychology, I have not been trained in how to counsel people. So I reccommend checking over what I posted for you with a psychologist. :)
So you like art too? Same here :D. I found that when I created self-portraits in high-school, I really discovered who I was.
I also like working with children too :).
