My name is Tyler, I am a high school senior. I live in South Lyon, Michigan. I recently began using marijuana, and I was also recently caught by my parents for doing so. I still have a strong conviction that it is completely harmless and should be decriminalized. However, I also found that the guilt of smoking it affected my personality and caused me to change, without even realizing it. I have stopped smoking, but for the reason that I above mentioned, not because its wrong. I mention this because it is a big factor in my life, something that is seemingly harmless affecting my life both positively and negatively at the same time.
I used to be a big sports fan, and I still watch quite a bit of football. I absolutely love Notre Dame football.
My college plans are a bit undefined. I am currently looking at Michigan State, Eastern Michigan and University of Michigan of Ann Arbor. It all depends on how much money I can get from scholarships and need-based grants.
I work at the family funeral home. I previously did a lot of outside work and maintenance but have been informally promoted to some kind of hybrid of funeral worker and maid. I go to funerals and help with parking cars, swinging doors and setting up chairs while at the same time continuing my maintenance duties.

What causes are you concerned about today?
That our world is so fear-driven, we can no longer go out at night without being afraid, homelessness, poverty, Darfur, abortion, gay marriage. Need I go on?
If you claim a political party affliation, which is it?
I am not a full-fledged Republican but I tend to side with them. I recently was a big McCain supporter, although I now realize that he was not a great candidate. Better than Obama though...
