I see, at one point I was thinking that they could just make a tougher, thicker hull around the subs. I hope they do indeed go deeper below the surface(it’s killing me to wonder what’s down below).
I think it’s a possibility. Advances in nanotechnology will probably result in materials that are stronger than current materials. Maybe even intelligent materials that can reshape themselves to the environment (imagine the molecules in a plate rearranging themselves to reallocate pressure more evenly). There are probably other ideas.
So there is a possibility that there is several new species living deep in the ocean. Do you think that one day they will find a way to overcome the water pressure and create deep sea exploration vessels?
Pressure is the primary reason why submersibles can’t go deep. Sonar primarily depends on movement, and even then it can only give you a 2-d outline of the creature.
I see. Yes, I know about living fossils, in 2007 they discovered a shark that was thought to be long extinct but they found one still alive. I just wonder why can’t they explore places like the deep sea, atleast with robotic subs to discover what life may be at the bottom. They say in monterry, there may be pleasiosaurs that are still alive, once there was a old black and white picture of people standing next to a giant dolphin, but experts examined it closer and saw that it had a really long neck and say that it can’t be a dolphin. Do you think that it’s the water pressure is why they can’t send submersibles to the bottom of the deep ocean, or they could just use sonar to examine the area, or is that just for like the landscape?
If you’re talking about organisms such as Bigfoot, then they either don’t exist, or probably won’t be observed because they’re either in an environment that is extremely hostile to observation, or the natural selection pressures on them would be too great for them to survive. Since they either are difficult to observe, dead or dying, or non-existent, I can’t imagine why they should be of any interest except to cryptozoologists. If you’re talking about organisms considered to be extinct, but recently found alive, then yes, they do exist. There have been such instances.
What’s your view on cryptids, there was a show I saw a day ago and it gives many hints of their existance, do you think that they could be in the world?
