Mini-Profile

Hi. I am a 43 year old married man who became disabled about 2 years ago and I’m struggling now to make ends meet. I was awarded SSDI (Disability) which only pays about 1200 dollars a month and while it is very helpful, it’s not enough to help my wife and I survive. I had an unsuccessful surgery for spinal cord compression which has left me unable to work due to extreme pain, uncontrollable shaking, major loss of dexterity/movement etc. My wife has taken over the courier business I started about 6 years ago but business has been in steady decline and we need help with our finances because we are still paying for bankruptcy, a credit card debt of 6000 dollars, and money we’ve borrowed from family and friends. Combine that with rent, unpaid taxes, gas money, and insurance and we are majorly struggling to survive. I’m really not sure what kind of help I can get here. I would appreciate any advice anyone can give me on a possible course of action. I’m at my wits end.
