  Your ideas are good but way ahead of your technical and basic artistic know how. If you really want to make your photography outstanding you’ve got to learn the basics of composition, angles, lighting etc. From a photography point of view sharpness is usually important especially in portraits and animals. The photo of the dog is poorly lighted. Fill your frames. A photo is like a painting on a canvas. Why waste 1/3 of the canvas as in photo 1. The blank sky is a waste. No sky allows you to get closer and maybe shows more facial expresion so we can tell is this a joke or is she reviving him? Lots to learn but worth it if you are serious. The black and white could use a little less black on top and maybe we can then see the people a bit more clearly. Good potential.
