  I guess when you see her, you can’t help but remember the good times you had with her. Also, since you care about her you still feel sad when she is looking down. You may still be in love with her, but sometimes the people you are in love with are not always the best people for you. If they break up with you, treat you badly, or are just really bad people it is best to try to meet someone else or you will just be miserable forever. You may also end up hating them eventually. Don’t ever doubt that you are doing the right thing by staying away from her.

  Sorry metalrock, I really have to disagree with that. The reason feminists have a bad name is because when women stand up with a voice they are posited as complaining and bitchy. Don’t you find this problematic in itself? Why do people need to make feminists look like crazy bitchy women? Do you think that women would have the vote today if feminists didn’t “complain”? Plus, I think “complaining” that helps people is worth it!

  Sorry guys, I disagree. If the two of you have just started to date then you should probably end it unless he is willing to admit he has a problem and is actively seeking help for it. My father is clinically depressed and it caused years of heartache and drama for my mom. People who are depressed go between days or even weeks where they are totally happy and fun and almost too cheery and then they crash and have weeks of moodiness, sleep all day (my dad did this and actually lost many jobs because he refused to seek help.) and cannot function normally in day to day life. My point is that if he isn’t willing to get some help you could be in for a long hard life with someone who is totally unpredictable and it is really hard. If he is willing to get help, stick by him and support him. Best of luck hon!

  I don’t know, but I really don’t think love works like that. I don’t believe that there is one person in the entire universe for you and that your life’s quest is to find that needle in the haystack. I think that people can be compatible with lots of other people and that finding ‘the one’ isn’t necessarily about searching the globe for Waldo as you put it, but just making it work with someone that you have committed to. I really believe that love is 10% natural spark and chemistry and 90% effort and commitment to making it work. This is just my opinion, but this is how I feel.

  I am feeling so strange. I can’t eat and I can’t sleep. It has been 24 hours since I have eaten. Food makes me feel so sick. What can I do to get over this? Whenever I sit down I can’t help thinking about it. I feel so used and betrayed. Help.
