Hi
Evolution is the continual process of change through differential survival/reproduction and descent with modification. Meaning your pet’s offspring will be different from them and not all of them will survive and/or reproduce. The ones who survive and reproduce ultimately guide the direction of the gene flow.
And what the first guy said is ultimately wrong. The theory has been tested, time and time again. It’s not only been tested by biologists, but it’s been tested by geologists, chemists, anthropologists and physicists. Each discipline does their own method and arrive at the same conclusion. It’s not an atheist agenda. In fact, Darwin was clear to say that evolution was God’s method of getting Man into his current form. Also, the catholic church has issued statements saying that no man in his right mind can now ignore the evidence for evolution, and again, evolution is way man came to be in his current state, but ultimately the soul of man comes from God. I suggest that you do some ACTUAL research into the matter instead of just eating whatever line has been fed to you by your keepers and that you not speak out of ignorance.

I’ve done that once. And only once. And I would never do that again. For me, I ended the relationship for very real reasons, but then went back, thinking that our issues had been resolved, when they were just the same as the way the were when we left it. And then it was 20 miles of bad road from there.
If you’re thinking about going back to someone or taking someone back, do yourself a favor first and pause to think about why things ended in the first place, and whether or not it acutally has resolved itself.

Good luck with finding what you need to find mate. I have a bit of a chemistry background, so maybe I can help with your question. Could he be referring to sigma and sigma*? Like this… http://www.madsci.org/posts/archives/2001-04/987790973.Ch.r.html
