And bleach is fine… just strips the hair of colour enough for a tint to do it’s thing, this time may take a few hours to do but next time it will just be your roots and won’t need as much doing..
Dark hair can not be lightened by normal tint, as in hair dye, as tint adds colour INTO the hair and to get dark hair light colour needs to be removed so.. you will no doubt need bleech or something similar to first strip the hair, doesn’t have to be on very long and it only needs to lift it a couple of shades and then you can have a tint (hair dye) on after to tone it and get it that colour, pretty simple really, I have done it many times before and if your going to a decent hairdresser then it should be done in one visit :)
Rightio, well I have very dark brown hair, nearly black, and Im hoping to get my hairdresser to dye it to about this colour http://img2.timeinc.net/instyle/image…
And I was wondering is this one of those thngs where itd need to be bleached in stages or any of that stuff or could it be done in one sitting?
