  A problem like this can be difficult to fix, but it can be done. What has happened is the purity of your relationship has been temporarily deminished. You need to be consistent with how you feel for a while.

  I know how you feel in this situation. I relocated to a small town a little over a year ago. I am simply here to go to college. It is a small college and most of the people that attend it are “from” the here. I’m gonna go ahead and tell you what the problem is even if it makes the people above mad. The problem isn’t you or anything that your doing. The bottom line is, in small towns the people that live there have grown up together throughout most of their lives. Basically they do not except people into their social realm that aren’t “FROM” there. I think this is mostly because they don’t know anything about you. Personaly I think it is childish and narrow minded. The people in small towns are basically looking to have some kind of dirt on you so that they can create a their own “label” for you. My advice to you and others like me that aren’t “FROM” there, is move to an area that has a larger population and more things going on.
