I don’t generally pay much attention to the news to be honest. I mean I hear about the main stories and stuff mostly through friends. I should pay more attention really but it’s never been something that has overly interested me.

I think the ‘bigger stories’ that happen maybe once or twice a year I would look into a little more. I don’t like taking things at face value in terms of what you see on the news or in papers. I’d look into a little more in the sense that I would check out a few of the sources if it was something that interested me enough to do so. If they match up then I guess it adds weight to the story.

Depends what you mean by ‘happenings’ I guess? Anything in particluar?
