  You don’t need to bring it up and you don’t need to do anything. Let it happen naturally. It sounds like you’re doing fine on your own. But you like him so you are being impatient. You want to find out what happens next, like NOW. heheh Which is fine, but trust me, the best part of falling in love is the actual falling part. The building up to it. Sit back, take a deep breath and enjoy the flirting, the excitement, that nervous feeling in your belly, and let nature take its course.

  What you have made is a very logical statement. :) Yes you can stay where you are, find your dream job and go that route. But in the end, after all is said and done, if you have no one to share it with and if he is truly the person you are supposed to be with, all of it will indeed be meaningless. You should call him and ask what he would do if you considered moving to where he is. Because maybe he doesn’t feel the same way and that will secure your decision to stay where you are. But if he does, I would move. It doesn’t mean you are getting married and having kids and giving up your life. It means you are going to a new country, learning a new language, being with the person you love, looking for a way to pursue your career goals in that country, possibly getting married and having kids with the man you love. And basically, HAVING IT ALL. :)

  You are in love with being in love. It’s romantic and poetic but not healthy. People don’t want to idolized, it’s too much pressure. That’s why many celebrities are so messed up in the head. Be romantic and be poetic but also be real and you may find that you are already complete. And then you may find someone else who is complete. And together you will be two wholes, not two halves hopping around savoring the bittersweet tragedy of a broken heart.

• Why is it that I cant have a friendship where I’m more then just a pyschiatrist for the people I care about?
  

  If you don’t want to change and don’t think you can, why are you contemplating it?
  
  Don’t change you, change the people you hang out with.
  
  You are having one-sided relationships with people who take but do not give back. You are either seeking out these relationships because they:
  
  Make you feel strong.
  Take your mind off your problems.
  You have a dominant personality and you attract submission personalities.
  
  None of these are bad. And all are easily changeable if you want to change. Just hang out with more dominant, aggressive people how like to lead rather than follow.
  
  But my guess is, you will not feel as fulfilled by these relationships. Basically, whether in love or friendship, opposites attract.

  First of all you are not alone. Unfortunately many women have been abused and raped by men who were supposed to care for them and love them. Understand this, no man who beats you or rapes you, loves you. You deserve better and you must wake up every day and remind yourself of that. What happened to you is not your fault. Seek out friends, family members, a religious figure, a counselor, a women’s shelter, a doctor, a teacher or any other health services professional who can help you find peace again.
  
  I recently read a book about love - loving oneself, loving others and being loved by others. In the book, something moved me. The author talks about children, babies and how they are miracles of birth and life. Then he talks about adults and the fact that we are all still children, we are all still miracles of birth and life. And if we continue to view ourselves as such, as precious children that need healthy food, a good nights’ sleep, the love of a parent, learning, time to play, warmth and attention we will remember how to treat ourselves.
