I aspire to be like my mom, my dad, and my friend’s dad. They are loving, hard working, and a little crazy, respectively. - written 8 months, 3 weeks ago
The question is a little ambiguous; either you are supposed to count the digits in the expression (in which case the answer is 13), or you are supposed to evaluate the expression and then count the digits. I personally think the answer is probably the former, and therefore 13. However, I would ask your teacher to clarify the question.
When counting digits, you are essentially counting up the numerals used to create the number. Math operators like + and - do not count; only the digits 0123456789. Simply count up how many of these digits there are, and you’ve got the answer!
for example:
456734 has six digits
33347 has five digits
7 has one digit, and so on. - written 8 months, 3 weeks ago
God bless. If these feelings persist, don’t feel ashamed about going to a doctor. Chemical imbalances can cause us to stress out and worry about things that are over-the-top horrible, often when we are worried about something completely different. I have some personal experience with this, so trust me, it gets better. Just learn to be able to recognize when you are stressed or tired, and you will be able to put things in perspective. Once you understand that your thoughts are a reaction to a real stressor, you can identify the stressor and take care of it. I hope this helps; I definitely know what it’s like to think things that are abnormal and scary. - written 8 months, 3 weeks ago
