why do people act fake .

Woah thats deep :) i think for the first couple its because they want to be seen as nice, they know that smiling at someone that they dont like is good and they hope that theyre friends will think that they are a better person becausse of it… I didnt really explain that very well. They want to be seen as a person, they dont want to be honest because honesty hurts, everyone thinks that its better to be fake rather than to give the truth, it will make the person that they are smiling comforting and talking to feel better even though it is a fakeness and will not last…

about the second half of your post, i would say for some of them its to fit in, with the clothes and attitudes and stuff its all about looking and acting like the next person not standing out and stuff…
